Mala’s prior experience includes time at national law firms DLA Piper (Canada) LLP and McMillan LLP. Mala also knows UBC well, having obtained both her undergraduate degree and her law degree from UBC and also having worked both at a UBC start-up company and at Innovation UBC. She looks forward to leveraging her knowledge of UBC in her new role as Legal Counsel.
