Mark obtained his undergraduate degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1989 and his law degree from McGill University in 1994. He was admitted to the Law Society of Newfoundland in 1995 and practiced law for three years in St. John’s, Newfoundland. In 1998 Mark moved to Vancouver and was admitted to the Law Society of British Columbia the same year. He started employment at the University in 1998 at the Department of Housing and Conferences ending as Associate Director, Housing and Conferences. In 2000 he started working for the OUC part time joining the office full time as Legal Counsel in 2001. He was promoted to the position of Associate University Counsel in November 2006.
Mark is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association.
