Jeff obtained his undergraduate degree from Brock University and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Ottawa. Post-graduation, Jeff held a research position at the University of Texas Health Science Centre at Houston before moving to various research administration roles at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda MD. Upon his return to Canada, Jeff first served as the Continuing Review Manager in the Office of Research Ethics at UBC before moving to SFU to assume the role of the Director of the Office of Research Ethics there. Jeff returned to UBC in 2021 and happily joined the Office of the University Counsel as the Conflict of Interest Manager.
